My dog was just diagnosed with calcium oxalate stones. Does anyone know of any treats that are safe for him?

Elvis had surgery to remove calcium oxalate stones about a month ago. Right now he is on Royal Canin SO and Potassium Citrate to keep the crystals from reforming. The vet said he needs to have a low protein diet, and when I asked her if there were any treats he could still have she said she didn't know, try baby carrots. Elvis will eat things like carrots and asparagus when they are offered, but those are both medium oxalate foods. Has anyone else been dealing with a similar problem, and if so, is there anything that has been working for your dogs? He's not really happy right now, and while I know his urinary tract health is number one, I want him to have a good quality of life as well. The vet really couldn't recommend any meat flavored treats, and wasn't sure if rawhides were safe, so I'm a little confused right now. I could just really use some suggestions from people who have been through this before, thanks

If the prescribed diet has a canned food you can make treats by making patties and baking it like cookies. It's healthy and you won't be changing his diet.
